Margaret brings extensive Human Resources experience and dedication to helping clients recognize their greatest talents and develop the commitment to do their best work. Her areas of specialty include coaching, leadership development and performance management. She has a natural ability to collaborate with others and understand client needs, using her warm, direct and insightful style.
Margaret began her Human Resources career at Wang Laboratories, computer manufacturer, where she worked closely with clients in sales and marketing focusing on talent management and employee coaching. Moving forward, she joined a small high tech start up, Datamedia, Inc., where she spear-headed national recruitment and incentive compensation efforts.
She increased her responsibilities at Cabot Corporation as a senior leader, working closely with global businesses to drive strategic initiatives. Primary areas of focus included organizational redesign, high potential development and performance coaching. Margaret worked in the software industry at Bostonpost Technology, where she led process improvement efforts involving implementation redesign and customer engagement.
Currently Margaret works with clients to help clarify values, interests, strengths and their unique purpose by guiding them through a mindful process of making informed choices. Her clients typically fall into two categories – those who have experienced a recent job loss and professionals who want to explore alternative careers. Each group has a shared desire for change in professional and personal life and a passion to use their specialized skills to make a difference in the world.
Margaret received her M.Ed. in Human Resources Education from Boston University and B.A. in Psychology from University of New Hampshire. She is a certified administrator of Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), able to administer the Golden Personality Profiler, Campbell Interest and Skill Survey and 360 Benchmarks instruments.
Involved in her southern New Hampshire community, Margaret has been an active leader in her local school Parent Teacher Organizations, youth soccer league coach, a retreat leader for Women's Ministry and volunteer for Corpus Christy Food Pantry.
Margaret and her husband David are the parents of three sons and enjoy spending time outdoors together, especially biking and kayaking.
